Description
“Coconut Samba” is a piece from the collection Guitar for Young Masters.
In the new edition:
the form of the piece has been slightly changed: the major theme at the beginning is no longer repeated twice;
this section is now written out completely instead of using the segno and fine markings, which makes the form easier for students to understand; when repeating the final chord, a tambourin technique is used;
in the minor section a bass line has been added, shifting the listener’s attention from the melody to the bass movement and enlivening the musical texture;
legato markings have been removed and the fingering has been changed.
